Your mission
Execute safe, efficient heavy material movement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while documenting equipment readiness, communicating proactively, and supporting continuous operations.
Core responsibilities
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to transport and position heavy materials
- Complete and file shift equipment inspection reports every day
- Spot potential production issues early and communicate needs to the team
- Maintain housekeeping standards in your immediate area
- Apply practical troubleshooting techniques and collaborate to resolve routine issues
- Follow all startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures
- Embrace and promote CMC Safety Programs and Safety Culture
Qualifications
- Demonstrated overhead crane operating experience; forklift capable
- Reliable, adaptable, and committed to quality work
- Willing to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends/holidays; overtime required at times
- Team-first attitude with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Physical and environmental demands
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in environments with heat/cold extremes, chemicals, dust, fumes and mists
- Navigating uneven surfaces, elevated work areas, high noise, and confined spaces
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
Proficiencies and equipment
- Proficiencies: Industrial Construction; Equipment Troubleshooting; Heavy Material Handling; Manufacturing environment experience
- Equipment: Overhead Crane; Forklifts
