Accountant
Kforce's client, a well-established service organization, is adding an Accountant to their team in Edison, NJ. In this role the candidate will be responsible for:
- Transactional accounting
- Payables - matching invoices, batch processing, coding
- Billing and invoicing
- Supporting allocation of overhead expenses
- Tax payments
- General support of the general ledger closing functions
- Bachelor's degree or Associates degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience with some payables, matching invoices, batch processing, coding, check runs and/or and general accounting, accounts receivable, cash applications and billing, and invoicing
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Strong Excel and previous GL system usage and navigation
- Ability to be in the office Daily with some Hybrid on an as needed basis
