Senior Oracle Database Developer (2x positions)

We are seeking a strong local resource in the Dallas TX or Jersey City NJ / NYC area to go through a fast 2 round process with our direct client for a long term W2 consulting position, where the rate range will be 60-65 on an hourly W2 basis and sponsorship/transfer is available (As it pertains to visas). Strong candidates will have experience building, designing, and supporting databases with PL-SQL. To be considered, applications must be local, and able to work with both ETL processes, OOP languages (Java/Python), and job scheduling tools for both on prem / Oracle (Autosys/Control-M) as well as Cloud/AWS ecosystems.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. 

Rate: $60 - $65 / hr. w2

• Develop high quality and performant code (SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, privileges, objects, indexing, et cetera)
• Provide data analysis, problem solving, and design as it pertains to the performance of database ecosystems
• Work in an agile/scrum environment and support high visibility efforts in customer facing technologies and financial services tools

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle / Database Developer
• 10+ years with PL-SQL
• 3+ years with ETL
• 1+ year with cloud (AWS/Azure)
• Ability to learn new technologies in Linux environments, such as new Unix commands, Python, Java, or new ETL tools

***Experience within financial sector, trading, capital markets, asset management, fin-tech, or equity is STRONGLY desired***

Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent degree in a neighboring Science/Mathematics discipline is a must
