Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Paramus, New Jersey. In this role, you will manage vital financial operations, ensuring accuracy in billing, collections, and account tracking. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial stability of individuals. Responsibilities: - Oversee accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and cash applications. - Generate monthly statements and track payments to maintain accurate account records. - Collaborate with guardians and other stakeholders to address financial concerns and resolve discrepancies. - Monitor individual account activities and ensure compliance with organizational policies. - Utilize Excel software to maintain data accuracy and streamline financial operations. - Communicate effectively with clients and external parties to ensure clarity regarding financial obligations. - Handle financial responsibilities for clients, including payment tracking and reporting. - Ensure proper documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements in all financial processes. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles. - Proficiency in Excel. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively. - Excellent follow-up and communication skills to resolve financial issues. - Knowledge of billing functions and cash applications. - Experience in collections, particularly in a commercial setting. - Ability to work independently in a standalone role. - Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in financial documentation and reporting.
