**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in a government location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or designated client contacts.
+ Assist with controlling access to restricted areas, monitoring entry and exit points as required by location protocols.
+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential disruptions and/or incidents.
+ Complete all required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
