Lawn Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, and trimming grass to ensure a neat and well-manicured appearance.
• Prune and trim shrubs, bushes, and hedges to maintain their shape and promote healthy growth.
• Perform weed control activities, including applying herbicides and removing weeds by hand to maintain a weed-free lawn.
• Maintain and operate a variety of lawn maintenance equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers.
• Install and maintain landscape features, such as flower beds, mulch, rocks, and decorative elements.
• Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects, such as sod installation or garden redesigns.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment storage.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in lawn maintenance, landscaping, or a related field is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a passion for the job.
• Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, including mowing patterns, edging methods, and shrub trimming.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate lawn maintenance equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of plant identification and care is a plus.
