Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and School-based licensure to provide services at an elementary school in Jersey City, NJ. This role is designed to cover a leave of absence, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development during the contract period.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
• Collaborating with educators and other school professionals to support student progress
• Delivering direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation and complying with school and state regulations
• Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing progress reports

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Valid school-based licensure or certification as an SLP in the state of New Jersey
• Experience working with elementary school children in a speech-language pathology role
• Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
