Seeking a dedicated and family oriented cook to join a busy family with 5 young adult children. Only candidates with cooking skills and experience cooking for a large families will be considered.

Responsibilities include daily/weekly menu planning, food shopping, full meal preparation, daily kitchen clean up and consistent kitchen inventory. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, exceptional hygiene, the ability to work efficiently and a basic knowledge of Kosher cooking. Must be comfortable around pets, there is a dog at the home.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Food Safety procedures
• Health Conscious and Nutritious Mindset
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Meticulous with cleanliness
• Proficiency cooking for those with dietary restrictions(GF, V, etc.)
• Flexible Can-Do Attitude
• Must work on own and also doesn’t mind taking direction
• Fluid with last minute changes
• Friendly demeanor with guests and extended family
• Able to receive feedback and incorporate feedback
• Dog Friendly Attitude
• Minimum five years of related experience working as a cook in a private home
• Valid driver’s license and own car
• Provide 3-5 professional references

HOURS:

• Monday-Friday – 7am to 7pm with scheduled breaks throughout the day

Salary and Compensation:

• $85,000
• Separate Living Quarters, Private Bedroom/Bath (Use of Home Gym)
• 2 weeks paid vacation, 2-4 sick/personal days, major holidays off and paid
• Immediate start!
