We are currently seeking a Java Enterprise Application Developer - Jersey City, NJ to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.

This position is hybrid and requires three days per week on-site at our client's office in Jersey City, New Jersey

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Build complex financial Web Applications and providing adequate software solutions following Scrum methodology software development practices
• Develop high-quality and detailed designs
• Identify risk and conducting mitigation action planning
• Review the work of other developers and providing feedback
• Mentor others in documenting systems architecture and development patterns and best practices
• Lead and deliver change in a very productive way
• Use coding standards and best practices to ensure quality

Basic, Required Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of hands-on experience in development of Java based Web/Enterprise Applications using Java version 8+

Other Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in IBM WebSphere and EJB Development is an added advantage
• Expertise in Full Stack Java development using Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring Core, JSP, Spring MVC, REST API, Hibernate, JPA
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Knowledge and experience in working with various messaging applications such as IBM MQ, Kafka
• Knowledge and experience with SQL and no SQL database
• Knowledge and experience in working with and setting up CI/CD pipelines
• Have good written and verbal English language communication skills with an ability to work effectively in an international environment
