Job Description

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in the warehouse by picking and pulling orders with precision. This position requires high attention to detail to verify labels and contents accurately, along with reading and following work orders and packaging lists. The role involves verifying counts of products pulled, packaging them, and preparing them for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Walk around warehouse to pick and pull orders.
• Verify labels and contents with high attention to detail.
• Read and follow work orders and packaging lists.
• Verify counts of products pulled.
• Package products and prepare them for shipment.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience.
• Proficiency in order picking, inventory control, and cycle counts.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift and cherry picker.
• Proficient in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable standing on feet for 8+ hours.
• Ability to lift 10-25 lbs consistently.

Work Environment

Work the 2nd shift from 2pm-10:30pm, Monday through Friday. The role requires standing for extended periods and working in a warehouse setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Somerset, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
