Job Title: Superintendent

Location: Northern New Jersey (NNJ)

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 + Excellent Benefits

About the Role

Our client, a well-established construction management firm based in Northern New Jersey, is seeking a sharp, energized Superintendent to oversee ground-up, stick-frame multifamily and mixed-use residential projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and lead field operations for projects that shape local communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations for ground-up multifamily and mixed-use residential projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure quality workmanship and on-time project delivery.
• Utilize Procore for project documentation, reporting, scheduling, and communication.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and proactively resolve field issues.
• Enforce company policies, project procedures, and maintain excellent relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
• Prepare and maintain daily logs, look-ahead schedules, and project updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily or mixed-use residential projects.
• Strong background in stick-frame construction.
• Proficiency with Procore required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb and walk stairs, ladders, and scaffolding as needed.
• Will be exposed to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and working outdoors are required.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of an active construction site.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $125,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience).
