A growing electrical contractor is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to support both preconstruction and project execution . This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning projects from bid through closeout while driving profitability and client satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
Estimating & Preconstruction
- Prepare accurate electrical estimates from plans and specifications
- Perform takeoffs and develop pricing for labor, materials, and equipment
- Evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotes and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support bid strategy, risk analysis, and proposal development
Project Management
- Manage projects from kickoff through completion
- Develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitor progress, quality, and on-time delivery
Financial & Client Oversight
- Track costs, productivity, and project profitability
- Manage change orders, invoices, and purchase orders
- Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong relationships
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, estimating, or project management
- Strong ability to read electrical drawings and specifications
- Experience managing projects and preparing estimates
- Proficiency with Excel, estimating software, and project management tools
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
