We are searching for the best talent for Senior Manager Enterprise Payments , in the Enterprise Contract Management (ECM) organization, located in Raritan, NJ.
The Senior Payments Manager is responsible for leading a team of associates responsible for the compliant, accurate, and timely calculation and processing of payments for multiple operating companies. Also, this individual will directly be responsible for addressing tactical and strategic payment processes and ensure all appropriate audits/compliance requirements are achieved by the team. You will be expected to collaborate and influence franchise partners and US Region contracting teams to ensure that strategies can be executed by the people, process, and systems of the ECS. The Senior Payment Manager must also ensure alignment of goals with partners for the best outcome for the customer and the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate expertise in the systems used for processing of payments and adjustments, ensuring the successful implementation of rebate agreements, accurate and timely rebate payments, and compliance with contractual obligations and JJHCS standards.
Lead, support, and mentor the Enterprise Payments Team, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance in rebate administration and payment processing.
Own and support initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, improving automation, driving standardization, and enhancing overall efficiency across departmental and enterprise-wide levels.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and customers, to lead/manage urgent matters with short turnaround times, and provide strategic advice on rebate administration, rebate analysis, payments, dispute resolution, and related operational issues.
Oversee and implement process improvement initiatives, including the development and maintenance of Process Narratives, SOPs, and Work Instructions, ensuring alignment with regional and enterprise standards.
Utilize process metrics and IT systems/tools to monitor, assess, and drive business results, including conducting system assessments and working with the Contract Solutions team on system enhancements and upgrades.
Provide critical input to business units to translate business strategies into compliant rebate processes, supporting audits, dispute resolution, testing, monitoring, and litigation inquiries.
Organize and lead cross-company and inter-company initiatives related to process improvement, compliance management, process integration, and relationship management with internal partners and external customers.
Apply influencing skills to shape rebate strategies, provide insights on major business projects, and support strategic decision-making.
Perform managerial functions such as staffing, resource assessment, workload prioritization, performance management, project planning, and business strategy development.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of guidance documents, policies, and regulations related to contracting and rebate management, ensuring adherence and supporting compliance efforts.
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a Business or analytical area; an MBA degree is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
People management experience
Experience working with cross-functional leadership teams
Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel VLOOKUPS and pivot tables
Demonstrated leadership on complex projects
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Preferred :
Progressive business experience in finance, accounting, marketing, government pricing, contracting or other related areas within Pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of Contracting and associated business practices
Experience with implementing and monitoring internal controls, and strong audit, compliance and/or financial skills
Familiarity or experience with Model N system
Possess strong interpersonal and interdependent partnering skills to lead and influence management, business partners, and peers to drive results
Ability to review and synthesize complex data and implement related business processes
Other:
Requires the ability to work in Raritan NJ, with up to 10% domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$120,000 to $207,000Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
