Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to support daily production operations. This role ensures that all production activities meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and compliant manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support daily production operations and collaborate with production teams.
- Conduct inspections and release production lines for manufacturing.
- Ensure production rooms are clean and meet sanitation standards.
- Use checklists to verify compliance with QA protocols.
- Collect and inspect product samples for shape, color, and weight accuracy.
- Properly label and bag samples for documentation.
- Complete and submit accurate QA paperwork and reports.
Essential Skills
- Minimum high school diploma; some college or degree is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of prior experience in quality assurance or a related field.
- Experience in GMP manufacturing environments (food, pharma, beverages).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in basic math operations and computer skills, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to move and lift 30 lb. boxes on occasion.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual skills preferred, particularly in Spanish or Hindi.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food production environments preferred.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Work Environment
The QA team consists of a manager and two QA inspectors. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with required availability on Saturdays (3-4 times a month). The role involves working in a GMP environment, with opportunities to learn from experts in the dietary supplement space with over 20 years of experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
