Position Objective:

The Inside Sales Representative- HVAC Equipment provides world-class Customer Service by exceeding customer expectations using advanced soft skill techniques, advanced product and system knowledge, and timely yet thorough problem-solving/dispute resolution for the AAF International New Jersey Branch to increase service business in the market.

Key Accountabilities:

Sales Duties

• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, including contractors, and consulting engineers.
• Maintain Job board of all projects in Salesforce.
• Communicate with manufacturers for equipment and filter pricing.
• Follow up on bids with contractors to close and win the job.
• Prepare Equipment Submittals
• Provide Equipment/Filter Selections to Consulting Engineers for New Projects.

Estimator Duties

• Review project specifications, blueprints, and HVAC system requirements to develop accurate cost estimates for air filtration products.
• Prepare detailed proposals and quotations based on customer needs and project budgets.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure feasibility and accuracy of quotes.
• Maintain up-to-date pricing and product knowledge to provide competitive and reliable estimates.

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. 1-3 years of sales or estimating experience, preferably in HVAC, air filtration, or a related industry.
3. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and understand HVAC system requirements.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM software is a plus.
6. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
