Accounts Payable Analyst

Our client is a manufacturing company. They seek a temp Accounts Payable Analyst to join their Saddle Brook, NJ office.
Responsibilities
- Process and review vendor invoices using our paperless and automated accounts payable system
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring effective communication and resolving any inquiries or disputes
- Gather information and ensure accurate processing of payments within the automated system
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions within the digital environment
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and prepare reports to support management decision-making
- Identify and implement process improvements within the accounts payable function
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable Analyst experience
- Strong client service and relationship-building skills
- Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems
- Experience with an automated accounts payable system
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
