CONTRACT/SITE MANAGER

Position:  CONTRACT/SITE MANAGER 

Type: Full-Time 

Location: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL), NJ 

Travel:  10%

Position Summary : The Contract/Site Manager is the on-site authority responsible for all aspects of contractor performance under the USAF Air Advisor Academic Services contract. This role includes operational leadership, personnel oversight, curriculum management, quality control, and reporting to government stakeholders. The Manager ensures compliance with government policies and standards, coordinates closely with USAF leadership, and drives continuous improvement in Air Advisor training activities. The position is pivotal in maintaining instructional excellence and ensuring mission success. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

These services are required to support unique efforts which may require: 

• Oversee and manage performance/daily operations on site 

• Ensure instructional delivery, compliance, and quality standards 

• Personnel management including alternate assignment

• Coordinate with USAF Flight Commander, COR, and other stakeholders

• Submit reports/plans/deliverables as per PWS and government requirements 

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance 

• U.S. citizenship required for Clearance and host base access 

• Must possess a valid passport and driver's license 

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills 

• Leadership and interpersonal skills to manage teams and communicate with USAF/partner agencies 

• Master's degree from an accredited school/university

• Prior management and supervisory experience as military field-grade officer (O-4+) or senior NCO (E7+) 

• Deployment experience in roles such as Military Advisor, PAS, RAS, FAO, PRT, attaché, SCO, or equivalent

• Experience leading formal military education and training 

• Completion of Air Command and Staff College, Senior NCO Academy, or sister school equivalent

• Ability to establish/respond to briefings and reports 

• Ability to work in office/classroom, and occasionally travel to other training facilities/sites 

• Ability to conduct walk-throughs, meetings, and observe training session 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:  While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
