About the Role

As a Senior ITAM Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring compliance with vendor contracts, licenses, and internal policies. You will work closely with various IT teams to maintain accurate asset records, manage software licenses, and optimize IT resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and asset tracking systems.

Review vendor activity for new purchases and returns, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases for IT equipment and supplies.

Coordinate IT asset disposals and recovery for terminated employees.

Generate custom reports and transition from Excel-based tracking to BI reporting.

Oversee and administer software license portals (Adobe, Microsoft, AWS, IBM) for compliance and optimization.

Collaborate with IT teams, including Desktop Engineering, IT Security, and Tech Support, to enhance IT asset management.

Participate in ITAM process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.

What You Bring:

✅ Strong Excel Skills - You can handle VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and CSV uploads like a pro.✅ IT Asset Management Experience - At least 4-5 years in an asset management admin role.✅ Software Management Tools Knowledge - Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, BMC, CMDB, or other endpoint management systems.✅ Technical Knowledge - Familiarity with hardware, peripherals, networking accessories, and IT connectivity standards.✅ Analytical Mindset - Ability to track and analyze IT assets to optimize costs and minimize risks.✅ Collaboration Skills - Strong organizational and communication skills to work across IT, HR, and procurement teams.

Nice-to-Have:

Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant certifications (ITIL, ITAM).

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.

Knowledge of mail merges and automation in Excel/Office applications.
