Position is In-Person in Edison, NJ - 5 Days (Monday/Friday)

General Purpose
To manage all aspects of production from order creation and management through to order shipment. This individual is responsible for entering data from various source documents into our systems for processing and data management. They are responsible for keeping the product specification and costing databases accurate. Additionally, they are responsible for organizing and managing purchase orders and ticket ordering, as well as maintaining customer portals. Basic math skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Manage the order creation process from start to finish by accurately preparing, compiling, and processing data into prescribed databases, files, and forms.
- Verify and correct data where necessary; check completed work for accuracy to ensure data integrity and comply with company security policies.
- Maintain, manage, and execute a detailed logbook of activities and tasks related to all phases of the order cycle. Detailed follow up both internally and externally is critical to candidate’s success.
- Manage packaging approvals in a timely manner. Check and approve all layouts and pre-production samples. Ensure color and quality of packaging matches our standards and is approved by licensor where necessary.
- Ensure sample orders are completed accurately in line with needs, specifically licensor, customer, production, and showroom samples.
- Check purchase orders are received accurately. Ensure tickets are ordered and received in line with the production schedule.
- Manage customer portals to ensure all setups are completed on time and accurately. Ensure all images and/or product samples are requested and uploaded as needed.
- Maintain product & packaging specifications and costs in our database by effectively communicating & partnering with our PD team and overseas office/factories.
- Maintain office, organization, and sample management.
- Effective communication and written skills a must.
- Perform other assigned duties as requested.
