HRIS Analyst

We deliver tailored cost-containment HCM consulting services to easily meet some of the most complex challenges that our clients face daily.
We are currently seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to support a large global company on a 9–12 month /full-time engagement through FosterThomas, with the potential for conversion to a permanent role with our client. This is a remote role with occasional onsite meetings in Hackettstown, NJ.
Responsibilities:
· Perform data entry and system preparation activities in ADP WFN to support Workday conversion.
· Audit and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
· Act as an escalation point for business-as-usual payroll/data issues, coordinating resolution as needed.
· Partner with the integration team to ensure correct and timely data flows from Workday to ADP.
· Support testing, cutover, and stabilization activities during the transition period.
· Serve as an HRIS “Super User,” troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across HR systems.· Identify system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
· Analyze, document, and maintain HR workflows, data entry processes, and best practices, including process mapping and SOP development.
· Coordinate all service tickets to ADP and provide Tier 1 support for each business.
· Maintain system configuration, reporting, and calculated field designs.
· Conduct regular audits to identify process gaps and recommend corrective actions.
· Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration and user-friendly interfaces for HR systems.
· Remain current on system functionality and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new features.
· Assist in ensuring HR data compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including data privacy and retention policies.
Qualifications:
· Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is required.
· Familiarity with Workday is a plus.
· Strong data entry, auditing, and documentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Proven experience with HR systems troubleshooting, process mapping, and SOP development.
· Ability to train end users and support change management initiatives.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills across HR, IT, and vendor teams.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment while maintaining communication and ensuring escalation with leaders, sharing risks, solutions, challenges, and updates as needed.
· Demonstrated ability to navigate and manage ambiguity in dynamic environments; skilled at asking the right questions to clarify objectives, gather critical information, and make sound decisions with incomplete data.
· Ability to adapt to evolving priorities while maintaining clear communication with project teams, business-as-usual teams, and other key stakeholders to foster confidence and alignment
