Accounts Payable Clerk

Staff Management Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for our client in Edison, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Hours flexible
• Mondays & Tuesdays required (most likely Fridays off)

Pay Rate:

• $21 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to provide accounting support during a leave of absence. This position requires hands-on experience with accounts payable, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process, post, and mail checks to vendors and clients (as directed)
• Manage invoice processing and payment schedules
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide professional customer service
• Maintain accurate records and assist with reconciliations
• Support additional accounting or clerical duties as needed

Job Requirements:

• Accounts Payable experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Sage or QuickBooks preferred
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Professional, detail-oriented, and reliable
