Bilingual Child Care Office Assistant 163 - Apply Using Job Code 21239
- Under the direction of the Site Administrator/Director, the Office Assistant is responsible for performing basic clerical functions such as answering phones, faxing correspondence, data entry, filing, bookkeeping, office equipment operation, distribution of supplies, inventory and collection of fees and updating our center parent engagement platform daily.
- The Office Assistant must be able to demonstrate a vigilant, calm and respectful demeanor at all times as they will be required to interact with parents, children and staff throughout the day.
- The Office Assistant will be required to escort students to various classrooms and assist with ensuring that ratios are maintained throughout the center.
- The Office Assistant will assist with arrival and dismissal and update student attendance as needed.
- The ideal candidate for this position would have a passion for arts and craft activities as they would be directly responsible for organizing, designing and updating themed decorations throughout the center year-round as well as and collaborating with center staff with various artistic projects that foster creativity and engagement.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be able to fluently speak, understand, write and translate Spanish without the use of AI or translation applications
- Child Development Associate’s Degree a plus
- Must be knowledgeable of Licensing Mandates, supervision and tracking procedures.
- Previous experience directly working with children and families preferred.
