We are looking for a dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. In this role, you will oversee the full spectrum of bookkeeping functions in a dynamic environment. Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.
• Oversee month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and financial statements.
• Utilize NetSuite to manage and track financial data effectively.
• Collaborate with leadership to create and maintain budgets and forecasts.
• Provide light human resources support, such as assisting with employee records, as needed.
• Supervise and provide guidance to an assistant handling accounts payable tasks.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Generate detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with special projects and tasks as directed by management.
• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably in the construction or a related industry.• Proficiency in NetSuite is required; experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Demonstrated expertise in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team.
• Familiarity with businesses in the $5-25 million revenue range is preferred.
