Experienced Leasing Consultant (LIHTC / HUD)

$21/hr | Contract | 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Use your affordable‑housing expertise to support a busy community by managing applicant interviews, resident certifications, compliance files, and leasing activity. You will guide prospects through the screening process and ensure accurate documentation for HUD, 236, and LIHTC programs.
Job Description
- Conduct applicant and resident interviews
- Complete HUD, 236, and LIHTC certifications
- Verify income, assets, and allowable expenses
- Accept and log rent payments
- Manage waiting list and assist with pre‑leasing
- Show units and provide community tours
Qualifications
- LIHTC and HUD experience
- Leasing experience in affordable housing
- Ability to complete certifications and required compliance paperwork
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage files and verify documentation accurately
