Job Overview: The Food Runner at our hospital plays a crucial role in our patient care experience. This position involves ensuring the timely delivery of meals to patients, maintaining dietary guidelines, and contributing to a positive atmosphere. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent service. Qualifications: Required: ~ Successful completion of general and department-specific orientation Previous experience in a food service role Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to work in a very fast-paced environment Preferred: Experience in a healthcare setting Certification in food handling and safety Bilingual abilities Excellent problem-solving skills Scheduling Requirements: This is a Per Diem evening The candidate must be available to work on weekends and holidays as needed.
