We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Body Shop Prepper to join our busy collision repair team. The successful candidate will prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces for painting.
- Sand, mask, and clean vehicles before paint application.
- Apply primers and sealers as required.
- Inspect repaired panels for imperfections and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Work closely with painters and body technicians to meet production deadlines.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a body shop prepper or in automotive refinishing.
- Knowledge of sanding, masking, and paint preparation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
