**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, including sensitive areas relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
+ Monitor for unusual activity or unauthorized access to restricted areas, helping to deter potential threats to the location.
+ Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or suspicious activity.
+ Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as needed.
+ Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
+ Remain alert to changes in the working environment that may impact security-related responsibilities at the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ An armed guard card or license is required.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
