Structural Engineer - Buildings & Infrastructure Design
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, and delivery of municipal, commercial, and infrastructure projects in Mount Laurel, NJ. This full-time role focuses on creating safe, code-compliant structural solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
As a Structural Engineer, you will perform analysis and design of structural systems, prepare calculations and technical drawings, and coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about structural engineering, enjoys working on diverse projects, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, infrastructure, and public works projects in Mount Laurel, NJ
- Prepare calculations, technical drawings, and specifications in compliance with applicable building codes and standards
- Review plans and designs to ensure accuracy, code compliance, and constructability
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to support project delivery
- Participate in design reviews, construction coordination, and project documentation
- Assist with quality control and engineering best practices across multiple projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Proven experience in structural design for buildings, infrastructure, or municipal projects
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency with structural analysis and drafting software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SAP2000, RAM, ETABS)
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
