Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leading pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their direct hire team in Edison, NJ. This position operates in a fast-paced, closed-door pharmacy environment, managing approximately 900 prescriptions daily. Utilizing Prime Rx software, the technician will support patient access to UPNEEQ, a first-in-class therapy, and ensure accurate prescription processing while providing excellent customer service.

Location: Edison, New Jersey

Schedule:

• Variable schedule of day and mid shifts
• Two closing shifts per week
• Operating hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with patients and healthcare providers
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and physicians
• Accurately enter data, prepare prescriptions, and maintain patient, physician, and prescription records
• Identify and report adverse events following company protocols
• Support the pharmacy team with various operational tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license with the state of New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in a mail order or closed-door pharmacy setting
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Candidates with stable work history preferred; job hoppers will not be considered
• Closed-door pharmacy experience is preferred; retail pharmacy experience is acceptable
