Job Description

About Us (Hybrid Position)

At INTUVA, we are more than engineers — we are innovators, problem-solvers, and trusted partners for mission-critical projects that shape the future. From advanced data centers to high-performance infrastructure, our work powers HPC and AI environments worldwide. We deliver excellence by combining technical expertise with a collaborative, client-focused approach. As we expand, we are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our multidisciplinary teams, elevate our technical standards, and drive transformative project outcomes.

The Role

As Director of Engineering, you will set the vision for our engineering operations, oversee the execution of complex projects, and ensure the highest levels of quality and innovation. You will lead a team of engineers and designers across multiple disciplines, partner with clients at a strategic level, and play a key role in shaping the future of our company’s technical and design capabilities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and strategic direction for all engineering and design activities across mechanical, electrical, and related disciplines.

  • Overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-performance building systems for mission-critical facilities.

  • Ensuring all projects meet technical, budgetary, and scheduling goals while exceeding client expectations.

  • Driving innovation in sustainable design, energy efficiency, and emerging technology integration.

  • Developing, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing team of engineers and designers.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.

What Success Looks Like

  • Delivering technically superior, code-compliant designs that align with client objectives and industry best practices.

  • Building a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering team.

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients and a thought leader in the industry.

  • Driving efficiency and innovation in design processes, resulting in measurable project improvements.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Any Discipline, Required).

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License (Required).

  • 12+ years of engineering design experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of large-scale, complex projects.

  • Deep knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and best practices (NEC, ASHRAE, IEEE, IMC, etc.).

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills — able to bridge technical expertise with executive-level discussions.

  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client expectations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with mission-critical facilities, healthcare, or large industrial projects.

  • Advanced degree in Engineering or Management.

  • LEED accreditation or advanced knowledge of sustainable design strategies.

Attributes We Value

  • Visionary Leader: You inspire teams to achieve excellence and think beyond the status quo.

  • Strategic Thinker: You make decisions that align technical capabilities with business goals.

  • Collaborative Influencer: You build trust across teams and with clients.

  • High Accountability: You take full ownership of results.

  • Innovator: You embrace new ideas, tools, and approaches to deliver better outcomes.

What’s In It for You

  • The opportunity to shape the engineering direction of a growing, future-focused company.

  • A chance to lead complex, high-impact projects that define mission-critical environments.

  • A collaborative, energized culture where your voice and vision have a direct impact.

  • Ongoing professional development with support for certifications, leadership training, and conference participation.

  • Competitive compensation, performance-based bonuses, and a robust benefits package.

  • Flexible work arrangements and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
