Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Physical Therapist is sought for a K-12 school setting in Pleasantville, NJ. This contract position is for the current school year and offers a flexible schedule working two days per week at the primary school location, with an additional 4 to 6 days per month providing services at a neighboring district.

Responsibilities include conducting physical therapy evaluations and treatments for students, collaborating with educators and healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitoring student progress to ensure effective outes. The therapist will provide therapeutic interventions that support students physical development and functional abilities within the educational environment.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with credentials appropriate for school-based practice
• Experience working in both healthcare and school settings, preferably K-12
• Ability to assess and treat pediatric populations with diverse physical therapy needs
• Strong munication skills to collaborate effectively with school personnel and families
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
