Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Outpatient | $19–$23/hour | M–F Day Shift | Whippany, NJ

Location: Whippany, NJ
Pay: $19–$23 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Setting: Outpatient Clinic

Join one of the NJ/NY area's top hospital and healthcare systems at their Whippany, NJ outpatient facility . We are seeking an experienced, professional, and patient-focused nationally Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical operations in a busy ambulatory care environment.

This is a full-time, weekday opportunity with no nights or weekends —perfect for CMAs looking for work-life balance in a stable, respected healthcare organization.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient care in an outpatient clinic setting
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and equipment
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing as needed
• Schedule appointments and assist with front-desk support
• Ensure accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Qualifications (Required):

• Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification - CCMA Required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a clinical or outpatient setting
