PersonalRX, a rapidly growing mail order pharmacy is looking to hire a per diem pharmacist with a minimum of two years of retail sector experience here in our East Rutherford, New Jersey mail order pharmacy. This position is needed to assist our existing team to complete the activities required to dispense the medications needed by our expanding patient base.

We offer a very competitive hourly pay rate ($45-$50 an hr.) based upon skills & experience as well as promotional opportunities over time

• NJ State license required
• Optional - licenses in other states a plus but not required.  The Pharmacist hired will be expected to get other state licenses over time.

Roles/responsibilities:

• Complete Pre-check dispensing activities
• Assist with prescription final verification
• Dispense medications as needed (controls and non-controls)
• Review claims and rebill as needed based on reimbursement
• Assist QA team if medications need to be reshipped
• Assist pharmacy technicians as needed
• Respond to urgent calls from our patients (RPh on call line)
• Take verbal prescriptions from providers
• Transfer in/out prescriptions as needed

Compensation and Benefits

$45-$50 an hr.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift Monday-Friday *all first shifts, no nights/weekends

Experience:

• Retail Pharmacy: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• NJ Pharmacy License (Required)
• Optional - licenses in other states a plus but not required.  The Pharmacist hired will be expected to get other state licenses over time.

Ability to Commute:

• East Rutherford, NJ 07073 (Required)
