Salary: $120k-$200k DOE + aggressive bonuses, PTO, comprehensive health insurance + 401k.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join our prestigious team. As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will handle a diverse range of complex cases for a variety of clients, including insurance carriers and self-insured entities. Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal representation to insurance companies, self-insured businesses, and other clients in all aspects of insurance defense, including but certainly not limited to General Liability.
• Actively work a caseload of 30-40 cases.
• Develop case strategies, prepare legal arguments, and negotiate settlements in pursuit of favorable outcomes for our clients.
• Work closely with clients to provide legal counsel and develop strategies tailored to their business goals.
• Collaborate with a team of seasoned attorneys and legal professionals to solve complex legal challenges.
• Stay current on industry trends, laws, and regulations to provide timely, expert advice and guidance to clients.
  
  

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in NY
• Experience in insurance defense, including handling litigation, claims management, and settlement negotiations.
• Strong understanding of insurance law, civil litigation procedures, and the legal landscape surrounding insurance defense cases.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal issues clearly.
• Proven ability to manage a full caseload, including depositions
• A team player with a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a client-first mentality.

• $120k-$200k base DOE
