Corrective Solutions Intern

SageSure
Jersey City, NJ
Overview:

If you're looking for the stability of a profitable, growing company with the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup, we're hiring. SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Corrective Solutions Intern to join our summer internship program. Over the course of this 10-week program, interns will gain tangible, hands-on experience and insight into our business operations. After 3 days of orientation and training, you'll join our Corrective team where you'll be assigned projects, with unlimited opportunity for challenges and achievement. We have, very often, considered our interns for post-graduation roles within the company.

At SageSure, the Corrective Solutions team is the driving operational resilience and continuous improvement. We don't just fix problems—we lead the charge in identifying root causes, driving cross-functional resolution, and preventing future issues before they begin. Our work bridges Software, Program, and Business teams, giving us broad visibility and high impact across the organization. If you're energized by complexity, thrive on collaboration, and want to help shape scalable solutions that make a real difference, you'll find a home here. Join Corrective Solutions and be part of a mission-driven team that turns challenges into lasting change

What you'd be doing:

  • Learn and network with employees, leaders, and other interns during an on-the-job experience.
  • Research and analysis support on ad-hoc projects.
  • Assist the Quality Control team with auditing and quality control processes.
  • Support data collection, analysis, and reporting on quality metrics.
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with the Project Manager on project planning, timelines, and deliverable tracking.
  • Attend project meetings and assist with documenting action items and next steps.
  • Gain exposure to managing a team function and contributing to large-scale projects.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Currently Enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Operations Management, Insurance, Computer Science, Project Management or a related field with an anticipated graduation date in Spring 2027 or Winter 2028.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools a plus.
  • Desire to work in the insurance or technology industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently, as a team member, and own challenging tasks
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Self-starter and self-motivated attitude

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • Prior internship experience
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • AI experience or coursework (e.g., applied AI, machine learning, natural language processing, or workplace analytics tools).
