We are seeking a New Business Account Executive to accelerate the growth of our SaaS platform for life sciences. You will manage complex B2B sales cycles, engage IT and business stakeholders, and close enterprise deals in regulated industries. We value self-starters who communicate clearly, solve business challenges, and embrace AI-powered solutions. You’ll help build and improve our evolving sales processes, focusing on converting inbound interest into revenue and collaborating with cross-functional teams as we scale.
We are hiring an Account Executive who has experience selling technology, ideally SaaS, to pharmaceutical or MedTech manufacturing companies.
This role is not suited for:
- People who sell SaaS to hospitals or healthcare providers
- Those with backgrounds in patient management, EHR, payer, insurance, or diagnostics sales
- Candidates with experience only in staffing, consulting, or services-led sales
We want someone who understands life sciences manufacturing, the limits of regulated production, and the challenges that Manufacturing, Quality, and IT teams face in pharma and MedTech plants.
Experience and credibility in manufacturing are more important to us than just having a strong sales or 'hunter' background.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business within life sciences organizations.
- managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across business, technical, and executive teams.
- Understand client challenges in R&D, manufacturing, and compliance, proposing tailored, value-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver product demonstrations, navigate procurement processes, negotiate contracts, and advance opportunities.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data, meet sales targets, and stay current on industry trends and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in life sciences or regulated industries
- Proven success managing mid-market or enterprise sales cycles
- Strong ability to communicate technical and scientific concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS or technology to pharmaceutical or MedTech manufacturers
- Understanding of regulated manufacturing processes (batch-based, QA/QC, change control, validation)
- Experience selling to manufacturing, quality, or IT buyers in GxP environments
