Lead Dental Assistant

Provide outstanding chairside care with a warm and professional manner, ensuring patient comfort and confidence.

Assist dentists during all dental procedures efficiently and accurately to maintain patient flow and minimize wait times.

Take dental radiographs, including standard diagnostic X-rays, in compliance with state regulations and safety protocols.

Review patient charts prior to the dentist’s arrival and accurately document patient data and treatment notes during exams.

Verify and update patient health histories, including medications and relevant health concerns affecting dental care.

Maintain strict patient confidentiality following HIPAA guidelines.

Follow all safety policies and infection control procedures to maintain a clean, safe working environment.

Assist with cleaning and preparing treatment rooms between patients.

Support other office duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of dental terminology to effectively communicate with the dental team and patients.

Exhibit a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills to foster a supportive and friendly workplace.

part-time $20 - $23 per hour

Monday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Thursday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Friday: Closed (alternating Fridays 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Saturday: Closed (alternating Saturdays 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

Sunday: Closed

Expected weekly hours: 30 – 33 (part-time, PRN)

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification required.

Valid Nitrous Oxide and X-Ray Certifications as required by the state.

CPR Certification required.

Previous dental assisting experience preferred, especially in a general family dental practice.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong teamwork and interpersonal relationship-building skills.

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.

Positive, patient-focused attitude with a dependable work ethic.
