As a **Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Driver** in **Summit, NJ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a vibrant commercial real estate location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This position involves driving responsibilities as you monitor and protect the premises. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors at commercial real estate locations by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in resolving issues as they arise on the property.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Observe and report all unusual activities and/or incidents, maintaining detailed logs and reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or credentials as appropriate.
+ Communicate professionally with tenants, guests, and other personnel to provide information and assistance as needed.
+ Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adhering to site-specific post orders and Allied Universal guidelines at all times.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
