HVAC / Building Automation Controls Sales Engineer
Sales Engineering - HVAC- BAS- Building Automation Controls
Our New Jersey based client is actively seeking to add a sales engineer to the team to sell new and retrofit commercial HVAC & Building Automation Controls systems focused projects. Types of projects include HVAC Mechanical and Building Automation, Service Retrofits, Design Build Retrofits based in the Northern New Jersey and New York City areas. Experience prospecting and networking outside the existing client base for referrals to develop qualified leads for new projects.
Qualified applicants will have:
- Approximately two (2) or more years HVAC, Building Automation Controls systems sales, sales engineering, applications engineering, systems engineering experience
- Calling on engineers and mechanical contractors within the Northern NJ & NYC areas for commercial projects
- A strong understanding of HVAC and/or Building Automation Controls products and the desire to learn new technologies
- Technical training in HVAC and/or Building Automation Controls systems
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to customers, both written & verbal)
- Build & Establish relationships
- Excellent time management & organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
