Job Overview:
We are seeking an expert in Core Java with advanced design techniques and experience working across large-scale environments with multiple operating systems and infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile frameworks, and cutting-edge technologies. This role involves leading technical initiatives, coaching teams, and influencing the application of innovative technologies to support business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Execute creative software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, with the ability to think beyond conventional approaches.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review/debug code written by others.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate recurring issues to improve operational stability of software applications and systems.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for existing systems.
• Drive awareness and adoption of new and leading-edge technologies through communities of practice across Software Engineering.
• Plan, design, test, debug, and deploy software solutions for managing infrastructure, project management, capacity planning, and operational efficiencies.
• Analyze infrastructure problems, inefficiencies, process gaps, risks, and regulatory issues to engineer software or automation solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and architects to identify and implement operational improvements.
• Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in Core Java and advanced design techniques.
• Experience working across large-scale environments with multiple operating systems and infrastructures.
• Proficiency in Agile frameworks and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, and security.
• Ability to stay updated on cutting-edge technologies and apply them to business needs.
• Cloud experience and familiarity with CICD pipelines.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to coach teams in technical skills.

Pay Range: $80 - $90

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
