Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a 3+ years experienced Associate Attorney to join their Design Professionals Practice Group, handling complex civil and construction litigation in a collaborative, high-impact environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist partners with litigation cases from inception to trial, including trial preparation and support.

• Interface with clients, insurance professionals, and retain experts for cases.

• Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and argue at hearings.

• Research legal issues, prepare memoranda, and evaluate liability and damages.

• Support settlement negotiations, mediations, and maintain accurate time records.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

• Admitted to practice in New York with 3+ years in design professional or construction litigation.

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Experience with written discovery and motion practice.

• Ability to work independently, multitask, and efficiently manage complex matters.
