We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab for a contract opportunity in Newton, New Jersey. This role is ideal for a skilled critical care nurse who thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Location: Newton, NJ 07860
• Schedule: 4 days/week, 9.5-hour shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 37.5
• Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
• On-Call Requirement:
  • 10–12 STEMI call shifts/month
  • Includes 1–2 weekends/month (Friday 5 PM – Monday 7 AM)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments across all age groups
• Deliver direct patient care in the Cath Lab setting
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately
• Assist with perioperative and procedural care
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery
• Maintain compliance with patient safety standards and hospital protocols
• Respond effectively in emergency situations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements

• Active RN License (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (Required)
• Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
