Warehouse Lead

Staff Management Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead for our client in Springfield, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift
• Monday - Friday
• Plus overtime

Pay Rate:

• $18 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a bilingual Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations in the shipping department. This hands-on role requires strong leadership skills and prior experience leading teams in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a small team in the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Oversee daily warehouse operations including packing, labeling, and shipment coordination
• Monitor productivity and provide direction to warehouse associates to maintain workflow
• Ensure all shipping activities meet company quality standards and deadlines
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline logistics and resolve issues
• Train new team members and enforce safety and operational procedures
• Track inventory levels and communicate material or product shortages
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure proper handling of materials
• Report progress and performance to management on a regular basis

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual (English AND Spanish)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Previous warehouse lead or supervisory experience (required)
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet tight deadlines
