Seeking Medical Assistant

Successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working for a medical practice.
We will train the selected candidate.

- Patient intake: verifying past medical history, patient social
history, allergies, medications and work status.
- Ensure proper preparation of chart for patient visit
- Organizes and maintains medical records
- Preparation of the examination room to ensure efficient patient
flow.
- Consistently and accurately stocks examination rooms with
necessary supplies and maintains needed supplies.
- Assist provider with procedures. Prepares the patient for and
assisting with the examinations, procedures and treatments.
- To the extent requested by the Medical Provider, Medical
Assistants are also responsible for certain follow-up with patients,
such as ensuring specialist appointments are scheduled and
referrals are prepared
- Assist front desk staff as needed.
- Understands and performs within MA scope of practice
- Demonstrates the ability to work in a multi-task environment.
- Cooperates with other employees to achieve specific team
goals
- All employees are expected to keep abreast of current
medical requirements relevant to their position, which includes
maintaining patient confidentiality and abiding by all HIPPA and
OSHA requirements

Clinical Duties:
- Assist provider with procedures

- Physician

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute:
- Practice operates in Hackensack and Ramsey for two Physicians
- Staff commutes to both locations
