Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Compounder Level 1 to join our growing cosmetics manufacturing team. This role is responsible for preparing, mixing, and documenting cosmetic batches in accordance with GMP standards, while working closely with Quality Assurance to ensure product safety, quality, and consistency.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with hands-on compounding experience in cosmetics, personal care, or related manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize batch vessels following batch completion and prior to new production runs
Review pre-weighed raw materials to confirm readiness for batching
Accurately assemble cosmetic batches according to CMS processing standards
Complete detailed batch documentation throughout the manufacturing process
Coordinate with QA for vessel inspections, batch completion, and product release
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) based on materials and processes
Transfer finished batches into containers and label with contents and release status
Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas
Dispose of waste materials according to company procedures
Perform general housekeeping and maintain C&S records
Support additional production tasks as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Compounder or in cosmetic/personal care manufacturing preferred
Ability to lift containers and move drums safely
Ability to follow detailed operating instructions for batch-making equipment
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Experience operating a pallet jack
Ability to read, write, and speak English
