Draught Technician

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing scheduled service to draught accounts. Service includes routine line cleaning, troubleshooting problems with the accounts draught service, installing draught systems and supporting special events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle and maintain customer draught beer lines according to N.K.S. standards.
- Assist with draught system installation agreement requirements.
- Responsible for attending service calls pertaining to draught equipment; this includes troubleshooting and repairing all problems.
- Responsible for ordering equipment related to draught beer needs.
- Provide on-site support for festivals and community events.
- Maintain product freshness and presentation through product rotation and equipment cleanliness and appearance.
- Assist with the set up and tear down of tradeshows and community events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Some college or vocational experience preferred.
- Smartphone, or similar device, is required. Must have the capability to download specific apps, such as Draught Lines and Paycor.
- Experience with heating & cooling systems, plumbing or beverage systems (beer, soda, etc.) a plus.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Retail and/or merchandising experience preferred.
- Valid Class D Driver's license and driving record that meets with company guidelines.
- Must carry the required minimal coverage of auto insurance.
- Knowledge of draught beer systems/troubleshooting preferred.
Language Skills:
Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate using the English language. Must be able to communicate information and respond to questions (verbally and in written form) effectively with customers, company personnel, and suppliers.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding, interpret and carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. The ability to prioritize responsibilities and work while dealing with a variety of requests throughout the day.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb (ladders) and bend for extensive periods of time. The job requires the use of hands (to finger, handle, or feel) specifically for, but not limited to unloading trucks. The employee must lift and/or move or push/pull up to 165 pounds. Must be able to maneuver up to 330 pounds with the use of a two-wheel dolly effectively. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color-vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Hearing and speech are also required communication skills.
