Shipping Coordinator

Responsible for managing outbound shipments, processing routing instructions, and delivering outstanding service to customers and carriers. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate shipping execution, on-time deliveries, and compliance with client routing guides in a fast-paced 3PL warehouse environment.

Expected pay Rate: $17–20 per hour.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

Review and process outbound shipping orders and routing requests from clients.
Schedule freight pickups and coordinate with carriers based on client-specific routing guidelines.
Communicate daily with clients, carriers, and warehouse teams.
Generate bills of lading (BOL), packing lists, shipping labels, and other required documents.
Maintain current and accurate records of shipments, routing confirmations, and communications.
Ensure all outbound shipments meet client specifications, labeling requirements, and deadlines.
Use the Warehouse Management System to enter and update shipping and tracking information.
Resolve customer concerns related to shipping errors, missed pickups, and freight issues.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure a smooth hand off of outbound freight.
Maintain a highly organized work environment
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics or business is a plus.
1–3 years of experience in a customer service or routing/shipping role within a logistics, distribution, or 3PL environment is preferred.
Experience with WMS or inventory systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Manhattan, etc.).
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented in a high-volume setting.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
