The Business Development Lead Generation Associate at Synergi supports the BD team in administrative functions, data entry and integrity, client follow-ups, prospecting, and meeting planning.
Additionally, the position researches and sources leads for feature and interconnecting stair projects for Workplace, Higher Education, Bioscience/Life Science, and Healthcare. The Business Development Lead Generation Associate gathers information through desk research from news articles, online publications, architect/general contractor websites/social media, and department of building databases. The Business Development Lead Generation Associate will keep a database of leads and lead sources to be presented and shared with Synergi Business Development Employees.
Primary Responsibilities/Functions
1. Support a highly-collaborative and dynamic Business Development team in the following ways:
Attend weekly Business Development meetings to take notes, enter data into Salesforce CRM, and manage all resulting tasks with the Business Development team.
Follow-up Business Development team members on committed tasks and document in SFDC.
Attend daily BD Huddles to document any tasks or notes on each BD Team Members daily activities.
Manage data integrity in SFDC and ensure opportunity plans and deal profiles are well filled out and kept current.
Assist the Business Development team in preparation for key client meetings and presentations including development of presentation decks, printed collateral, typing of agendas and note-taking.
Support the Business Development team in high-quality client follow-up including follow-up emails, meeting recap letters, gifting, scheduling of project visits and shop tours etc.
2. Find leads using desk research, developing a system to regularly check sources such as trade journals, news articles, local building authority websites, permit searches, social media (LinkedIn, Twitter), annual reports, etc.
3. Making of outbound phone calls to clients and prospects to schedule meetings.
4. Attending presentation meetings with clients in conjunction with the Business Development team.
5. Taking meeting minutes during meetings and circulating to team and uploading into SFDC.
6. Triage leads for suitability:
Making sure the article/information is recently posted and the newest information available.
Ensuring the project meets set criteria.
Making sure the project is in the focused sectors.
7. Research the lead and collaborate multiple sources of information for the project.
8. Develop experience and gut feel of a good lead.
9. Attend training programs as required.
10. Work collaboratively with Synergi Business Development team to research leads.
11. Attend weekly Stage 1 meetings with Manager to review details and progress of the opportunities.

1. Construction/architecture industry experience is beneficial but not required

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration when on a job site. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
The employee is required to have a clean workspace in home, hotel, etc. for virtual meetings, internally or externally with clients, vendors, etc.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This
position is very active when on a job site and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Personal Protective Equipment
Utilize PP&E in compliance with OSHA standard and per site specific safety programs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position (40 hours). Workdays are Monday through Friday, work times are dependent on department, projects, and supervisors request and approval.
