Monokian Dentistry is currently looking for an NJ licensed Registered Dental Assistant. Unlicensed applicants need not apply.

We are looking for a professional outgoing Dental Assistant with strong interpersonal skills to join our family. Our modern, fully digital practice provides quality restorative care, full mouth reconstruction, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, extractions, and implant restorations. Our Registered Dental Assistants get to use the full scope of their licensing; trusted by our doctors to perform expanded functions and shine as the rock stars that they are!

Job Responsibilities

Our dental assistant team is in a special position to provide our patients with the most important health services. They help develop comprehensive treatment plans with the dentists, and perform all clinical and technical expanded function duties independently, (under the supervision of the dentist). They take x-rays, intraoral photographs, and scan digital impressions. They record clinical notes pertaining to the patient oral health conditions and actively participate in treatment planning with the doctors. They provide the patient with ongoing preventive oral care through patient education, treatment, and reinforcement of the doctor's treatment plan.

What must you have to qualify as a candidate?

· NJ Registered Dental Assistant License (preferred)

· NJ X-ray License (required)

· Great outgoing, engaging personality, and demeanor
· A Team player - With culture as our top priority, you need to work as a team and continue to uplift the culture

· Ability to multi-task and think on your feet in a high paced environment

· Some flexibility with work schedule - able to work at least one night per week and some Saturdays

· Professionalism, and ability to build excellent rapport with patients
