Imagine your first week at Onyx Valve Company: you’re on first shift, setting up a ProtoTRAK lathe in the morning, finishing a run on a Romi Easy Path 2 by lunch, and closing the day with a quick pass on a Bridgeport and a manual machine to hit a critical dimension. The parts you make keep mining and wastewater systems moving—precision work you can point to with pride.

The challenge

• Own end-to-end machining on CNC ProtoTRAK lathes and mills, Bridgeport, and Romi Easy Path 2 CNC lathes.
• Complement CNC work with manual machining to achieve exact specs.
• Tackle a wide span of sizes—from 1" to 30"—and weights from 5 lbs. to 3/4 ton.

What we’re looking for

• Approximately 3 years of CNC experience preferred; we will consider recent graduates of accredited CNC machinist training programs.
• Comfort with setups, offsets, and safe operation.
• A teammate who values quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Compensation, schedule, and perks

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience, with overtime paid and usually available (not required).

• First-shift hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Where you’ll work

Our 30,000-square-foot Cinnaminson, NJ facility houses state-of-the-art machining and rubber molding equipment, just 19 minutes from Center City Philadelphia. We’ve designed and built valves for 20+ years, and many of our technicians have 30+ years in the craft.
